Matrix R30 Recumbent Cycle with Console Options (XR, XER, XIR)

Loving my new Matrix exercise bike. Very comfortable seat, and the mesh back is great, too. If you have any lower back issues, I would recommend this bike in a heartbeat. I'm finally getting a good cardiovascular workout, three years after my lower back made it impossible to walk for distance.

I traded in a Nautilus bike which I had for 25 years and I also used many different bikes at the gym so I have experience with different models. The R-30 bike affords a good workout but was surprised that I could not enter my weight so the calories and distance readouts seem way off. I was told by the salesperson that I could enter my weight to get accurate readouts of my workouts. A hard 50-minute ride on other bikes yielded calories over 1000 and distances of 8-10 miles. On the R-30 I barely make it to 3 miles and the calories are less than 350. Perhaps I'm missing something but I didn't see any prompt to enter personal info of any kind, including weight. So what is the point of selecting different users upon startup?

We wanted something other than a tread mill for cardio and we knew the peloton style was out. Went to Johnson in Fredericksburg, VA. Vinny was great showing us everything they had, let us try them. We did go with the upgraded screen on the model we chose. It was more expensive but worth it. It is a great workout. We still have and use our treadmill, but our bike is a great addition. The delivery and set up team was quick, friendly and efficient. I haven%E2%80%99t had any issues that I have had to call about.

It%E2%80%99s great. It does everything I hoped it would. Smooth and quiet.
